About

Who Am I?? Well I’m glad you asked! My name is Caitlin Kilgore, and I am a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) with a Masters in Social Work. I have worked in the field of behavior modification since 2006, working primarily with children with autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, and children without a diagnosis but who struggle with challenging behaviors. I specialize in skills-based teaching, reduction of problem behavior, toilet training, sleep training, and the teaching of social skills.

Strides was founded in 2019 to address what I saw (and heard from many families) as a lack of support for parents in dealing with the typical parenting challenges we all face. For many families, there are limited resources for their neurotypical child dealing with a difficult behavioral concern; for families with a child with a diagnosis, there are often 2 year waiting lists for ABA services throughout the country. Especially for young children, this is precious developmental time lost in the formative years! This time can be better spent on families learning strategies to support their child and set the whole family up for success. Enter Strides!
